Training on “Compensation for damages arising from tortious acts” held

The Judicial Training, Research and Information Academy organized a training session on “Compensation for damages arising from tortious acts” for Justices of the Supreme Court of Mongolia on October 30, 2026.
The training was conducted by Professor Masahiro Kurita of the Graduate School of Law, Nagoya University, Japan. The sessions covered general concepts of tort law, issues related to the resolution of disputes arising from traffic accidents, judicial practice in traffic accident cases, and the determination of compensation for non-pecuniary (emotional) damages.
During the training, participants examined the legal framework governing tort liability, as well as theoretical and practical issues concerning the resolution of related disputes. They also exchanged knowledge and experience on challenges encountered in judicial practice.
