Proceedings of the International Conference on “Judicial Independence and court Digitalization” Published

In June 2025, the Supreme Court of Mongolia, the Judicial Training, Research and Information Academy, the Judicial General Council, and the U.S. Embassy in Mongolia jointly organized the inaugural conference of the Open World Program alumni in collaboration with the Congressional Office for International Leadership (COIL) of the United States.

The international conference, themed “Judicial Independence and Digitalization,” brought together over 80 participants, including judges, judicial administrators, and court sector leaders from Armenia, Estonia, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Serbia, the United States, and Mongolia.

The Judicial Training, Research and Information Academy has translated and published the full proceedings of the conference into English to serve judges, legal researchers, scholars, and legal professionals.

The proceedings include comprehensive discussions and presentations on a wide range of topics, such as:

  • Digitalization of Court Procedures to Enhance Access to Justice

  • Utilizing Legal Databases and Case Law to Ensure Consistency in Judicial Practice

  • Artificial Intelligence and the Judiciary in the Digital Era

  • Cybersecurity Challenges in the Justice Sector

  • Public Right to Know and Trust in the Judiciary

  • Judicial Training in the Digital Age: Developing Competencies in Digital Tools and Artificial Intelligence
