Meeting Held Between the Judicial Academy and the Federal Court Administration of Canada

Within the framework of the “Equality and Justice for All” project jointly implemented by the Federal Court Administration of Canada and the Judicial Training, Research, and Information Academy, a bilateral meeting was held.

Dr. D. Erdenechimeg, Director of the Judicial Training, Research, and Information Academy; Mr. Tom Crabtree, Justice of the Supreme Court of British Columbia and Chair of Judicial Affairs at the National Judicial Institute of Canada; and Ms. Pamela Tripp, Director of International Education at the National Judicial Institute of Canada, participated in the meeting.

The meeting was also attended by Mr. D. Baatarkhuu, Chief Judge of the Administrative Appellate Court; Ms. N. Odontuul, Judge of the District Court for Simplified Criminal and Civil Proceedings and Judge-Trainer at the Academy; and Ms. G. Khaliunaa, Head of the Training Center of the Judicial Academy.

During the meeting, the participants exchanged views on the development of leadership and training programs for Chief Judges of all levels of courts in Mongolia, the implementation of online training, and the design of training programs for judges who will be appointed to the newly established Family Court starting from January 1, 2026.
