Welcome Address
2025-06-24 Админ
Distinguished guests, delegates, and judges,
On behalf of the Secretariat of the Supreme Court of Mongolia and in my personal capacity, I extend my warmest greetings to all of you.
At a time when Mongolia is preparing to establish a specialized court for family and juvenile cases starting from January 1, 2026—as part of its broader judicial reform efforts—it is my honor to welcome you to this international academic conference entitled “Specialized court: Children’s right and family”, jointly organized by the Supreme Court of Mongolia in cooperation with the Judicial Academy, the International Development Law Organization (IDLO), and the Hanns Seidel Foundation.
This conference brings us together in the shared pursuit of building a child-centered, human rights-based judicial system that aligns national specificities with international best practices. Family courts play a vital role in protecting the rights and legitimate interests of children and family members—those who are often the most vulnerable yet most valuable members of society.
During this conference, we will discuss a range of important and multidisciplinary topics, including:
- Current challenges in family and juvenile legal relations;
- The distinct features of legal disputes involving children and minors;
- Issues concerning judicial structure, court organization, and procedural principles.
We are honored by the participation of esteemed speakers—judges, scholars, and policymakers—who have traveled from countries such as Japan, the United States, Germany, the Netherlands, the Republic of Korea, Turkey, and Australia. Your experience and insights are of great value to us.
We are fully prepared to welcome you with Mongolia’s rich cultural heritage, breathtaking natural beauty, and the warm hospitality of its people. Welcome to our country.
