On April 21, 2025, Ms. D. Erdenechimeg, Director of the Judicial Academy of Mongolia, and Mr. Kim Si-Cheol, President of the Judicial Research and Training Institute (JRTI) of South Korea, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing cooperation between the two institutions.

Under this MoU, the parties agreed to strengthen collaboration through judicial exchange programs, joint training activities, and reciprocal institutional visits. The agreement also provides for mutual support in participating in international academic conferences and symposiums organized by either institution.

This partnership not only fosters the exchange of expertise but also strengthens institutional ties between the two judicial training and research organizations. The MoU formalizes and expands cooperation with renewed content and a strategic outlook.

During the visit, the Korean delegation was introduced to the structure and operations of the Judicial Academy’s Research Institute, Training Center, and Library. Both parties expressed their willingness to contribute to the editorial board of the Journal of Mongolian Judicial and Legal Studies, and to exchange legal publications and research materials in English and Chinese.
