A total of 10 judges from first-instance and appellate courts, along with 5 court administrative staff, participated in a study program organized by the Judicial Academy of Mongolia.
As part of the program, the participants visited key institutions of the South Korean judiciary, including the Supreme Court of Korea, Seoul High Court, Judicial Research and Training Institute, Judicial Policy Research Institute, Supreme Court Library, Training Center for Court Administrative Officers, as well as several first-instance and branch courts in Daejeon, Cheongju, and Gangwon.
The Korean judiciary is widely recognized as a global leader in digital transformation. Its E-Court Master Plan, launched in 2003, is nearing completion with the integration of artificial intelligence into judicial proceedings. At a time when Mongolia is actively working to digitalize its judicial system and enhance transparency, the visit to the Supreme Court's IT Center provided valuable opportunities for knowledge exchange and practical learning.
This study program was especially significant as it enabled participants to gain comprehensive insights into the functioning of courts at all levels—from district courts to the Supreme Court—across both urban and rural regions.
