Training of trainers on family cases and juvenile justice successfully concluded

The Training of Trainers on Family Cases and Juvenile Justice was organized from May 4–8, 2026. This initiative was co-organized by the Supreme Court of Mongolia, the Judicial Training, Research, and Information Academy, and the International Development Law Organization (IDLO), with financial support from the Government of Canada. The program aimed to prepare judges for the upcoming specialized Family and Youth Court and to strengthen the capacity of judges presiding over these types of cases.

B. Battseren, Justice of the Supreme Court, D. Erdenechimeg, Director of the Judicial Academy, and Charles Bolland, Country manager of IDLO, highlighted the results and significance of the five-day intensive training during the closing ceremony and presented certificates to the participants who successfully completed the program.






The training was led by a distinguished team of trainers, including Supreme Court Justice and Presiding Justice of the Civil Chamber N. Bayarmaa, Justices N. Batchimeg, B. Battseren, Ts. Och, and Kh. Erdenesuvd, along with Judge of the Circuit Court of Simplified Criminal and Civil Cases of the District N. Odontuul, Director D. Erdenechimeg, and Dr. U. Tuya (Ph.D. in Education).

A total of 13 judge-trainers specializing in family and juvenile justice participated in the session and are now prepared to cascade their knowledge nationwide.
